Call to Action

A Few Words
About Us

To build a community centred in Christ and constantly nourished by His love, with parishioners journeying together in faith, helping each other to grow in relationship with Christ and to be living images of Christ in everything we do and wherever we find ourselves.

On the Pastoral front, SVDP hopes to provide programs that help and guide each parishioner to encounter Christ and to constantly grow in a loving relationship with Him.

Ministries within the church aim to excite and encourage every parishioner to joyfully embrace the unique vocation and path of holiness that God has willed for each and to bring out the very best of ourselves using the gifts that God has bestowed to each.

Next time you have an opportunity to pray in silence, take one or more of these beautiful prayers and spend time with it. Let it become your own personal prayer and let God speak to you and strengthen you through it.

It continues the traditions of centuries that is perhaps most widely recognised as part of monastic life, “marking the hours of each day and sanctifying the day with prayer”.
